Pastor Adeboye stated this on Friday, January 16, during a visit to Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Adeboye stated this on Friday, January 16, during a visit to Obafemi
Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Punch reports.
The
respected cleric, who was at the institution for a two-day
interdenominational prayer session, also added that politicians are not
trustworthy because they don’t fulfill promises made.
“I
don’t trust politicians; politicians are liars. They don’t fulfil most
of their promises. A politician can tell you that they will give all of
you (students) chicken each, which we all know it is impossible,”
Adeboye said.
The
Pastor also urged Nigerians to stop worrying about the outcome of the
presidential elections saying that God the “master planner” had already
planned the leadership development of Nigeria.
The Vice-Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor at the RCCG and is also said to be a close associate of Adeboye’s.
