'If Tomorrow Never Comes' Inspiration behind Yvonne Nelson's new movie passes away

Child actor and inspiration behind Yvonne Nelson's new movie production 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' is dead.
Ghanaian director, Pascal Amanfo, took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to the late kid and also reveal him as the inspiration behind the upcoming movie.
According to Pascal, the inspiration came from the late child who couldn't walk or talk.
"Had the amazing and eye opening opportunity to film with this child in his challenging condition...unable to talk or walk..cerebrally deformed and yet with a glow that can pierce any heart...
"His mother blatantly refused to poison him as her family demanded and stuck with her guts to give him a chance at life..i have known the treasure of raising kids...the joy they bring and emptiness life can be without them and so when i met this child through the @luckielawson foundation and initiative, i decided his story could and should be told...
"This forms the premise for a @ynproductionsgh film...IfTomorrowNeverComes...
"it is therefore heartrending to note that Kwaku, this said child, 2 weeks after shoot just passed away in an Accra hospital..he required no greater honour than at least living to share a part of his story with the world. GOD bless your hearts @luckielawson..@yvonnenelsongh...Kwaku lives on!!" - He shared.
May his soul rest in peace.

Bola Tinubu APC leader says he sacrificed Presidential ambition for Buhari

Tinubu stated this on Friday, January 30, during the party’s Presidential campaign rally in Lagos State.

Bola Tinubu APC leader says he sacrificed Presidential ambition for Buhari

The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has said that he sacrificed his Presidential ambition for the party’s chosen candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu stated this on Friday, January 30, during the party’s Presidential campaign rally in Lagos State.
The former Lagos State governor said that he gave up his ambition because Buhari had more experience and would be able to deal effectively with the country’s problems.
“People define patriotism as putting the country first but this is what the ‘Poverty Development Party’ refuses to understand. We chose Buhari not because Bola Tinubu is not interested in the Presidency. I am capable, competent, qualified, younger and richer but there comes a time that people must make sacrifices for their nation,” Tinubu said.
“I prayed that Nigeria would get better and we would not need a man like him (Buhari). But today, we are in a great crisis; we face a lot of challenges. When South Africa was in a great dilemma and was about to disintegrate, they called Nelson Mandela of 74 years old. He used his wisdom to save his country. When the United States was in economic depression, they called 73-year-old Ronald Reagan because he was frugal and incorruptible,” he added.
“When America was faced with depression and war, they called a retired General, Dwight Eisenhower, to rescue the country and the country was returned on a path of success. “When France was faced with war and economic depression, they called a retired General, Charles De Gaulle, to rescue the country,”Tinubu continued.
“So what do we need now? Buhari. This is the time for us. General Buhari, whether you are qualified or not qualified, we are calling you to come and rescue us in Nigeria,” he concluded.
Meanwhile the APC has denied reports that Buhari was stonedduring the rally as alleged by former Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Lagos governorship aspirant, Musiliu Obanikoro.

Love Zone 5 simple ways to improve your relationship

Often, it's the small steps, taken every day, that can make a big, positive difference in cultivating your connection.

Love Zone 5 simple ways to improve your relationship

All relationships — even the best ones — require continuous care and hard work. But that doesn't necessarily mean taking big actions or making dramatic changes.
Little changes also can be tremendously helpful. That's because simple, everyday positive behaviours add up.
Here are five simple ways you can instantly improve your relationship.
  1. Focus on what you love about your partner: After spending years together and dealing with day-to-day stress, couples can forget to focus on the positive. Relationships can easily become a litany of "you didn't do this" or "stop doing that." Instead, remind yourself what it was that made you fall in love with your spouse. Focus on the qualities you appreciate. And don't forget to share those thoughts with your spouse.
  2. Touch your partner: When you have physical contact, it is harder to remain closed off, angry and disconnected. Just touching your partner or giving them a hug can go a long way in connecting you as a couple.
  3. Listen to your partner: Take the time to listen to what's important to your partner. If your spouse has something to say to you about their feelings, needs, reaction or wants, it behooves you to truly listen rather than respond with either your own opinion or defensiveness to what they said. That's because once you put down your defenses and stop rehearsing your own responses in your head, you'll be able to gain a clearer and deeper understanding of your partner, and your relationship.
  4. Find the humour in a situation: Humour heals. It provides us with perspective. Laughter also releases a lot of stress, allowing more positive feelings to ensue. Try to find the light side of a situation, and laugh together.
  5. Get intimate: When you connect in a way that is sacred to your relationship alone, you can't help but feel more intimate and connected. Plus, the release of feel-good chemicals also enhances your love and attachment. Relationships require regular maintenance, and the above tips can help you build a healthy, meaningful bond. Often, it's the small steps, taken every day, that can make a big, positive difference in cultivating your connection.

In Germany Former President dies at 94

Former German President, Richard von Weizsaecker has died at the age of 94.
Weizsaecker, who was in office from 1984 to 1994, died in Berlin on Saturday, January 31.
The former President was best known for his May 1985 speech, which marked the 40th anniversary of Nazi Germany's defeat in World War II and won him widespread praise as an effort to bring fellow Germans to terms with the Holocaust.
"All of us, whether guilty or not, whether young or old, must accept the past. We are all affected by its consequences and liable for it. Anyone who closes his eyes to the past is blind to the present,” Weizsaecker, who was a regular soldier in Adolf Hitler's army, said in his speech before the West German parliament.
“The 8th of May was a day of liberation. It freed us all from the system of National Socialist tyranny,” he had added.
Announcing Weizsaecker's death, current President Joachim Gauck said:
“Richard von Weizsaecker stood worldwide for a Germany that had found its way to centre of the democratic family of peoples. He stood for a federal republic that faces up to its past.”
German Chancellor, Angela Merkel said:
“Weizsaecker's comment on the "day of liberation" was a necessary, clear statement that was significant for our German self-image.”
“The death of Richard von Weizsaecker is a great loss for Germany," she added.
Weizsaecker is survived by his wife, Marianne, and three of their four children.

Popular Hip Hop model and socialite Amber Rose walked out ofD'banj's tenth year anniversary party which took place at the Ocean View, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Amber Rose and her entourage walked up and left the event after it became obvious that the anniversary celebration party was a shoddy affair.
D'banj's performance of hits can be best described as uncoordinated as the pop star kept interrupting himself while performing to ramble.
When the DB Records star continued doing this for a sustained period of time, Amber Rose and her crew left the event.
Prior to her leaving, Amber Rose announced the premiere of D'banj's new video 'Feeling A Nigga' remix featuring Akon.
Strangely, mid-way into the showing off the video, D'banj announced that the video to cut off. He then went on to ramble which killed the flow of the event.
